Coaching Walk Foel Fawr and Foel Faith with Bobbie
25th November 2020
This was the walk I did a week previously in horrendous weather…however, the forecast looked better and with Bobbie being a bit more experienced at hill walking I thought Id chance this route.
From the car park it was still foggy, but certainly not as bad as it had been and no rain. A compass bearing later, a sheep that didn’t move (now known as a reference point in this walk by me!) a few mini cairns and we got to the trig point at Foel Fawr using a rough bearing of 140′
A brew at the trig point, with the low cloud starting to clear and lunch at Foel Fraith, Bobbie took a bearing back to the trig point and made it back easily.
